Took it out of the box, plugged it in, not showing up on phones or MacBook Air.

I’ve plugged it into the MacBook Air via the USB and absolutely nothing.

Lot’s of blue flashing lights. What the heck!

Hello,

Sounds like you may have plugged the device into the USB port before shutting the NAS down.

  • safely eject the USB Drive
  • Press the power button on the Wireless Pro to enable NAS mode
  • Wait a few minutes
  • Press the power button again to shutdown the NAS mode
  • Connect via USB port

That does not work.

Since I posted yesterday I’ve updated the MacOS to Sierra and now when I plug the drive in via USB It says “drive unrecognizable” with the options it ignore or initialize.

Still nothing re wifi when it isn’t plugged in to the USB.

If you have not put content on the Wireless Pro, choose “initialize”.
