Hi, I’m new to WD so I notice sometimes it is slowly blinking light, sometimes solid, and sometimes rapid. Does this indicate any issues with the hardware or is it normal behaviour? My other harddrives hold a solid light and when it starts to blink it’s indicating it needs more power. Just making sure, great product by the way.
Hello, it is normal behavior, you will see the light blinking when data is being transferred to or from the hard drive.
