Is it just my system or is it so slow to copy files

Tried to do a Time Capsule back about 600Gb, usually takes around 4-6 hours ont he time capsule or even my synology drive, with wd its been around 12 hours and still 50%, is something wrong?

also coyping just photo library which has iphoto, normal copy takes 2 hrs max but with WD been around 14 hours and still going. Whats wrong

Have you tried disabling any firewalls/antivirus that might be slowing down the transfer rate?

Yes have tried that but no difference. Have a mac wonder if need to copy differently.
