I am considering buying a WD Mycloud (NAS) see link below. Does anyone know if the drive gets full if the amcrest software will start overwriting the data? Any help much appreciated.

It would probably be almost entirely dependent on the Amcrest camera’s software. And it may also depend on how the Amcrest IP camera connects to the My Cloud (SMB, FTP or other). The My Cloud is simply the storage repository it has no control over the camera or its software.
If you haven’t already done so you may want to dig through the Amcrest forum to see if there are questions similar to yours.
