Invalid sata drive?

I am havin lots of problems with the hub lately.

I did a reset and when I turn it on now ’ invalid sata drive please use western digital drive only’ is coming up.

Any ideas why this is happening and how to resolve it?

 Also when I press the reset button underneath the hub do I lose all the data?


Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.

No, pressing the reset button will not erase your data; it just resets the CONFIGURATION.

It sounds to me like the internal drive may have failed.
