"invalid request (400)" using Android My Cloud app

I have a My Cloud 4 TB - with the latest firmware version WDMyCloud v04.04.04-101 : Core F/W.
Since it went operative in august I have accessed through

  • WD Windows 10 app - works fine on all three PC’s - also from external networks
  • WD IOS app on Ipad air - works fine - also from external networks

But the Android (6.0.1) app on Samsung Galaxy tab S2 repeatedly gives an error - both on our private network and from external networks: “invalid request (400)”

Now and then I can get access, but after a short while I get the error code again: “invalid request (400)”
F.ex. after I have seen 4-5 items.

I have deleted the app several times and reinstalled - after reboot of tablet.
No change.

I have updated the firmware: no change.
