International warranty on My Passport 2TB portable drive?

Hi ,

I’m planning to buy a 2TB MyPassport Drive from the US . And then take it to India . 

My question is will the warranty be covered in India as well for the hard drive purchased in US ?

If you need to replace the My Passport while you are in India, you need to call/email tech support so they can change the warranty region for you.
