The MyBookLive device does sound very useful and I bought one three months ago. But I feel that it is let down badly because the instructions are unintelligible (at least to me). I simply cannot work out how to make it do, most of the things that it is meant to do. It is certainly not ‘plug and play’.
My plea to Western Digital is - please try to make your products useable by ordinary people, by writing instructions in plain English. It is so frustrating to waste hours of my time, and then failing to get it to work.
Having a technical support function does not address this - I have found them of limited help.
