I bought a Passport HD several months ago along with WD Smartware Pro…as I understand I can use Smartware Pro on up to 3 computers. I just bought a new computer and I can’t figure out how to install WD Smartware Pro on it. Can anyone help me? My Passport is working fine…I just need the WD Smartware Pro software on my new computer. Thanks!
Download the standard version of WD SmartWare from WD’s website and proceed to activate WD SmartWare Pro with your unit connected into the new system by clicking the “key” icon located in the upper-right section of the app.
