In Limited Warranty

good day. i have a defective wdc 500gb hd with a in limited warranty up to 8/4/2014. the store refuses to accept it for warranty since i dont have the so cold sticker attached on thier issued delivery reciept. my question is - can i still avail the warranty even if the seal is intact? if so please guide me on how to avail the warranty service? is there a way i can directly bring this defective hd to any service center here in the philippines?
