I accidentally turned off my G-Raid 4TB external drive without ejecting it properly. Can I just restart it? Will this cause any long-term problems?

Just restart it, there is nothing else you can do in that situation.

Otherwise yes, normally you don’t want to improperly eject the drive as it can cause corruption to the data.
