I forgot my password and can't get past the lock

I have a WDBBP0010BBK-01 external drive that I have for over 3 yrs. My Dell crashed recently and I did a restore.

i wanted to get some files out of the passport and I forgot my password and can’t get past the lock.

Can anyone help me unlock this drive.

Hello,

Without the correct password you are not going to be able to get into the drive. I recommend you try to remember the password or you will have to erase the drive in order to use it again.
