Hello,
On WDTV HD2, I used to sort by folder. So with my new WDTV Live Streaming, I would like to do the same.
But there is a problem. Within a folder (SciFi for example), subfolders are at the beginning.
I would like to have both subfolders and lonely files in alphabetical order, like on the WDTV HD 2.
Is it possible?
For example, in SciFi folder, I have 3 files (Avatar, Battleship, Oblivion) and 2 subfolders (Star Wars and Harry Potter, which contain all movies of them). I would like this order:
Avatar, Battleship, Harry Potter folder, Oblivion, Star Wars folder.
Thanks a lot if you have an idea or a solution !
Nope, not possible. Folders always are first.
Ho… it’s a pity.
So how do you organize when you have some movies on 2 CDs?
Do you put them on a subfolder, and they are always at the beginning?
Or do you let them at the root of the folder, and they are double?
Not very useful. I remember, on WDTV HD 2, it’s the same, but all movies have to be on a folder, so it was easy to rename “real” folders to have them at the beginning.
I will try to suggest this improvement for a future firwmare.
Thanks !

Nope; I just do what you do… Multi-title movies go in folders (Star Trek, James Bond, Transformers, etc…)
I just know to look at the beginning for folders.
Yep, I do that.
But I will suggest another order to WD support.
It’s would be more useful to have Star Wars between Source Code and Total Recall
