I can’t get this fricking thing to work… I followed the steps in the manual, and when I open WD Discovery, it does not see the drive. I am using Windows XP. My computer was recently formatted, and I gave them the drive to backup all the stuff I needed before reformatted. I can login to the IP address of the unit, and see that 80GB is used… but how in the lords name do I get this to work… I also bought this so that when we buy a laptop, we can back everything up… HELP HELP HELP!!!
Have you tried looking in my network places you should see the unit and three directories public share downloads and configuration share. You can upload the files to the unit. M
