I can share on the "PUBLIC" shared folder but not on the others

I finally got everything to work except for the sharing of folders or files that are not in the “PUBLIC” share folder. I open up the mycloud.com and log into my account. I navigate to one of my folders and when I try to share something from there I get an error message. I can only share stuff that is in the PUBLIC folder of my NAS drive. What’s different about that folder and what setting do I need to change to get my other folders to be able to share? Thanks!
