HUB's ethernat speeds (gigabit) ..?

I thought this HUB was ment to have a GIGABIT ethernat port, it definitely doesnt. whats the score people…??

It most certainly does.

i get speeds of 15MB when i put files onto my HUB, thats not gigabit speeds… any ideas… ?

Having a gigabit port and being able to transfer at gigabit speeds are 2 different things.

i have a gigabit router and a gigabit switch, i can transfer fies through my network at gigabit speeds (NAS and HTPC) but not my HUB. any ideas

This number proves it’s gigabit.

15 MB / second =  > 120 megabit.  So it’s obviously not a 10/100 port.

on my NAS and HTPC i get speeds of 35MB so why aint i getting these speeds on my HUB.?

That’s not Gigabit either, then.  :)

That’s only 280!

I mean, seriously.

The Hub has a tiny CPU.    NASes are purpose-built for higher performance.   The Hub is a Media Player that’s network accessible.   It’s not a NAS.  ;)
