Https connection to mybooklive dashboard from LAN is forbidden - How to change that?

Hello,

I want to connect to my mybooklive dashboard via secure connection, but it leads to the following message:

https://mybooklive or https:// or https://mybooklive:443

#########################################################################################
Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access /UI on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
#########################################################################################

In the logfile (/var/log/apache2/error.log) on the mybooklive it is written:

client denied by server configuration: /var/www/UI, referer: https://mybooklive/
File does not exist: /var/www/Admin/webapp/errordocs, referer: https://mybooklive/

How can I change that?
I only want to use a secure https connection instead of an unsecure http connection where my password is transfered in plain text and is visable via wireshark.

Best regards
Killerjoe

Got the same results on mine

not sure this is supported

Hi,

i got the same problem too. Anyone can help on this issue?

The HTTPS connection is only for use by WD2go.

I was having the same issues and non of the solutions I found worked. But the simplest of all did (same reason I overlooked that option and after everything else failed I tried it): rebooting the router.

After doing that, everything went back to normal.
