How to see each folder size?

Hi,

I have a 4TB MyCloud unit, how can I see folder size from either the admin or MyCloud web portal?

Hi,

Are you referring to the shared folder size? If so, you can see the used space by opening the My Cloud Dashboard, go to the “Shares” section and select the shares on the left panel.

Why not use your favourite file manager to determine folder size? Since you mention the Dashboard (admin portal), you must be accessing locally, so you should be using your file manager for all local file operations.

I don’t use my file manager and figure WD would have been smart enough to include basic ideas like directory sized as part of their webportal… or whatever the F you want to call the online majingi that is the mosta basic way to access the WDclouddrive???

None of the software that comes with this â– â– â– â–  thing helps you to link the clouddrive to a local file manager.

I have been so disappointed with this experience it is beyond me why I am still trying.

Directory Size seems like it would be important to know right?
