Acronis True Image cannot see My Cloud on Windows

Today I bought a My Cloud Home 4TB, intending to use Acronis True Image 2016 for backing up my Windows 10 laptop, just as I used to do on my plain old WD USB external drive. When I try to select a backup target in True Image, the Z drive mapped by My Cloud does not show up, even though it can be seen in Windows Explorer and I can add files to it there. When I check the Z drive properties, I see the file system to be “KDDFS” (which I cannot even find on Google). Is there a way to make this work? …

I suspect the ‘KDDFS’ is the apparent interface created by the Discovery program. And that the actual filing system used by the Home is still ext4. But you will get more educated answers on the correct forum, since people there will own Homes.
