Hi I hope someone can help. I have old external hard drive 500gb. I havent used it in a year i think. im trying to use it again and i dont care about the data on it anymore. but the problem is everytime i connect it to my computer it doesnt get recognize and it also slows the computer down to the point nothing works and i have to disconnect the usb to come back normal!
Can you please confirm whether the drive is not only visible on Windows explorer but readable at other places like disk management and device manager.
