Does it make sense to restore the hard drive?
I have a 1TB WD Green Hard Drive with the same symptoms
Have tried everything … including a FULL Zero Fill which took several hours … didn’t make any difference.
Using the Hard drive as a paper weight now and keeping it handy as a projectile to throw at burglars breaking into my house.
That is a very old hard disk but hardly much used but the problem with Crystal Disk reports is that it does not realize some disks use the spare sectors and and ignore them
It makes send if the reallocated sector pool ran out
