How to automatically delete older files?

I am using my new NAS, My Cloud Expert Series EX2 Ultra, for backing up my security cameras. Is there a way to automatically delete files that are 30 days old or older? If I don’t do that, the HDs inside the NAS will get full eventually. Thanks.

I don’t think that WD and the firmware currently offers that sort of flexibility. There’s a sub-forum for community engagement and suggestions, but I wouldn’t hold your breath for them to come out with any solution soon. They need to fix other fundamental problems before they ‘expand’ imo

You are right. I contacted WD tech support and they told me that the product cannot automatically delete old files.
