How to allocate space on RAID 5 partition

Just purchased a new PR4100 NAS enclosure. I have 4 4TB drives installed, and they’re set up as a single Volume_1 RAID 5, so I have around 11 TB of space on the entire volume. I’d like to divide up the space into a couple of sections. So far, I have created a share for Backups, and a share for movies. I’ve been able to create a mapped drive letter for each of those shares. I’d like to restrict each share to a specific amount of space. I used to have a QNAP NAS device, and I knew how to do this with their software, but I am unable to figure out how to do this with my new WD NAS device.

Any assistance is appreciated!

Hi @Rassi,

Please refer to the article how to Upgrade the Drives on a My Cloud Device (RAID Expansion):

The linked article(s) do not address my question. This is a new NAS, not an existing one. Nothing is being expanded, and the linked articles do not address how to restrict shares to only allow using a portion of the RAID volume.
