How long should it take to make a Raid 0 (striping) from 2x3TB Reds - using My Book Duo? (new version)

Due to the lack of completion percent or any info for that matter i decided to go with Raid 1 wich finisheded instantly
Had to stop it at 4 Hours on a small 2x3TB Raid 1
It is unacceptable to leave end users dangling with out any Progression Percentage or text info
How am I supposed to know what its up to and how long it will take
