How do i turn off WD SmartWare

I have been using SmartWare to do my backup from my desktop to a 4 TB MyBook and I now want to use GoodSync to manage my backup process. How do I turn off SmartWare so it does not conflict with GoodSync?

You can either select no files for backup, or uninstall WD SmartWare from Programs and Features in the Control Panel.
