I have a MyBook Live 2tb and had trouble with router so I removed the drive mapping for Windows 7. Then I got the MBL showing up but now it tells me the password that I have is wrong. How can I recover that password and admin user (if not admin). I can not even access the public share. I saw no way to hook it up directly to my computer but assume that would not get me anywhere. My link to MyCloud does not work since the IP for the NAS changed (dynamic not fixed IP) so I can’t access it that way. MyBook Desktop wants the password and user and does not accept the password that I had used. I wanted to access the drive so I could back it up to another NAS. Any suggestions? Thank you.
