How do I find out if firmware is up to date for WDC WD1002FAEX-00Z3A0

I have an old WDC WD1002FAEX-00Z3A0 drive, which might be misbehaving under Windows 10 (I get error 129 and freezes). Is there any way I can find out if the firmware needs updating? The WD software products do not recognise it.

I know it’s old, but I don’t want to have to replace it unless I have to! Especially as it’s also possible that the problem is nothing to do with the drive.
