How do I even use this thing?

I got the My Cloud EX2 Ultra a few months back and setting up a clean and workable uploading process has been a nightmare.

The instructions are worthless, I’m using WD Sync to upload files but I have no idea if all of my files are even being uploaded. My WD Discovery software isn’t allowing me to log in.

Someone, please break down their uploading and workflow process because I am in desperate need of help.
