The hhd was removed from a “sagemcom” freesat recorder. I have fitted in to my system and it shows up in the bios but not in “my computer or device manager”
Does it have a different format?
There are no jumpers for slave or cable select. i would like to make it cable select.
Any ideas or help would be great thanks

You will need to confirm this information with the manufacturing brand of your Satellite Recorder the default parameters related to storage media, including file system and partition table in case this is possible. If the disk drive is detected on your system’s BIOS then it may be possible to operate, but may need to be formatted.
