HGST C10K1800 HUC101890CSS201 Tools SED revert

Hi,
I bought some HGST C10K1800 HUC101890CSS201 hard drives on ebay.

The drives seems to come from an NetApp with 520 blocksize.
I try to reformat the drives using sg3-utils and sg_format.

This doen’t work as it seems the drives are SED [ Self-encrypting drives].
So I tried SEDutil: Self Encrypting Drive Utility (https://sedutil.com/). But it looks like the tool not support this drives.

I need a way / tool to remove the Self-encryption by using the unique PSID which is shown on the hard drives lable.

Are there any solution therefor provided by WD?

I have the same issue. I didnt find any drive revert tools for HGST SED disk tools till now.
Anyone give some suggestions?

SEDutil is for managing disks which implement Opal 2.0 Security Subsystem Class (SSC) from TCG, while HUC101890CSS201 seems to implement Enterprise SSC. There is commercial software like WinMagic SecureDoc for Servers that support TCG Enterprise disks. I don’t know whether it will work with this particular drive. Some supported drives are listed on the Drive Compatibility page.
