Help! When plugging in my WD Passport it said unable to recognize

When I saw that I tried a different cord and it was able to bring it up, but still no software so it prompted me to install it, but kept saying failed for WD Sync .  So I went to the website and downloaded the software and I don’t see my old files and it says 29 days remaining for trial. When I first got it I did not have to pay for a trial version…

Please help!!

I’m sorry that your post hasn’t been replied to.  Have you tried contacting WD’s Technical Support? I would consider giving them a call about this.
