Ok, my son plugged in my book WD external HD into his xbox to see if it would work. I did not see what it said on the screen but he said it read configure , yes or no, he chose yes. Now I look on my drive and its totally blank. It had lots of important data on it. Obviously the data was deleted and some type of format took place with the xbox. Is there any way to recover the data or am I totally out of luck. Thanks in advance.
