Help! My NAS is getting full because of the backup software!

Hi all,

Recently I installed the WD Mycloud backup software together with the other WD Mycloud software in order to make my NAS accessible again by Windows 10. I accidently allowed the software to synchronize so my NAS is getting full now. Discovering the problem, I uninstalled the backup software since I’m not able to find the backup and so I losed 1 TB space! And I can’t still find the backup! So, my question is: can anyone help me out? Would be great!

What software did you install? WD Sync or WD Smartware? One is for syncing and one is for backing up. Each software performs a slightly different function.

There are numerous past discussions on WD Sync filling one’s My Cloud to capacity. There are various discussions on how to resolve the issue.
