Help! My 1 TB is nearly full

Hi, Can I add a further 1TB ot 2TB on to my existing MBL 1TB to give me additional storage? My MBL goes through a modem. How would I connect a further MBL? Thanks

Look for the debrick guides, you can follow those to upgrade the hard drive if you wish to do so. Also a few threads already cover that topic such as  http://community.wd.com/t5/My-Book-Live/Replacing-hard-drive-in-My-Book-Live-NAS-Cloud-Storage/m-p/800775#M30010

Or, if you want another MBL/NAS device, just buy it and connect it to your LAN, just make sure they have different names.

Thank you Shabuboy. I will spend some time reading up on your suggestions. It does look, though, that a simple LAN connection to my modem would be the easiest way.

I presume that I would have to inform quickview to start backing up to the new box. It won’t simply move to the new box automatically when the original one is full?
