I need assistance retrieving photo files from a Western Digital 4T My Passport (WDBYFT0040BBL). I have used the Data Rescue II app without success. I have also attempted to use EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard and Stellar Data Recovery but again without success.
Currently I am running the WD Drive Utilities Test Drive program in the hopes of gaining some insight into if the disk is corrupt and/or if the files can be retrieved. Note: The Quick Drive Test ran fine and the disk “passed”. I ran the Complete Drive Test and the disk Passed but clearly that doesn’t mean that the files are not corrupt or retrievable.
I could really use help from the community and thank you in advance for it!
PS: The Passport is formatted for Apple and I’m running Mojave as I check things out via macOS Disk Utility.
