HELP - How to delete files on My Book Studio--on Mac

Hello All :blush:

I am using Macbook Pro (latest edition). and I have a My Book Studio External Hard Drive.

I want to delete some files on my external HD, but when I go through Finder, and navigate through the folders, I Cannot delete any files. WHY?? Please help me WD experts.

Hi,

Was the drive being used on a different OS before? Is possible that the drive is only showing as read only.

How did you backed up the files on the external drive?

No, only Mac OS.
