I don’t know if I should be asking this question. But I’m concerned. I recently unintentionally kicked my PC as it was running. It wasn’t so hard though. But the PC started making a wierd vibrating noise. I unplugged it, opened it up to check. Everything looked normal so I turned it back on. It was working fine. But then, I noticed something wierd about the hard drive. (It’s a WD blue 1TB). As I powered my PC down. The HDD continued to spin and slowly came to a halt. I checked my other WD 250GB HDD and it comes to a halt instantly like all other HDDs that I’ve seen. Now my question is that is this slow spin down of the 1TB HDD normal? Or did that sudden kick mess up something inside it?
