HDD size

I have the 4Tb my cloud mirror, and I want to know if there are any differences between the 12Tb and the 4Tb machines that would stop me from upgrading the HDD’s in my machine to a bigger size if possible. I am starting to run out of room.

Hi Sandysound, welcome to the WD Community. It is not supported to upgrade the internal drives on the My Cloud Mirror, this doesn’t mean it is not possible, but it is not guaranteed that it will work correctly. You might be interested in the My Cloud EX2, this model does have a list of supported drives. See the link below for more information.

The only difference I see on the compatibility chart is the number of pc users is 3 on my cloud mirror and 10 on ex2.

Otherwise they look like the same machine… I understand if it is not supported due to warranty issues but otherwise it should be fine?
