Hi there,
I try to plug an external HDD either on front or erar USB port, but never happens except the blinking LED and message saying WD is trying to establish USB connection.
Of course the HDD is working fine.
What can I do?
Firmware is he latest one.

I finally found a way:
Unplug USB cable
Restart from WD menu
Switch on HDD
Plug it on FRONT USB port
Not sure it is important but this sequence works for me afterwards, without unplugging cable:
Switch on WD, wait for end of boot
Switch on HDD
At the end:
Switch off WD
Switch off HDD
Amazing that this procedure has to be followed
Amazing that Rear USB port doesn’t work
