Hi,
I purchased a 500GB 2.5" Scorpio Blue drive in december 2011 to be used in an external caddy to go with my MacBook Pro but the drive started clicking.
I have tried to RMA it, but the warranty information is just blank and when i try to complete an RMA it gives me the following information;
Error:Please choose Asset/Product only IN WARRANTY
This is what i see below;
Can any one advise me on what i need to do to get this drive replaced?

Hi on this site choose warranty check type in the drive serial number and see what comes up. http://support.wdc.com/warranty/index_end.asp?lang=en If the drive is not in warranty and you feel it should be you need to contact WD support on this page http://support.wdc.com/contact/contact.asp?lang=en you have to choose your country and then contact them . You of course need to have a WD account to do the RMA.
I am having the same problem, did you ever find a solution?
Unfortunately this is not the first time that I have broken WD and I RMA requests but then I do not understand what is happening but it’s twice that I am applying for the same disk and I do not receive a confirmation email but no RMA request! WD 2012 is not the top !!
