i planning to buy wd tv…i have a question.wd tv support 2.5 sata…can we connect 3.5 sata with… i know it will not fit in the box but can i use extended cables connection to use 3.5 sata?

The WDTV does not have SATA connections.  You can use a 2.5 or 3.5 hard drive with an external enclosure with USB output.

Many users have used other hard drives with success.  I happen to be using a Cavalry 1TB CAUM series HD (I believe that is a WD  inside).
