WDBPCK0010BBK-03 is no longer recognised by my Mac (OSX 10.9.5) after I deleted files from it. How can I resolve this?
Erasing files should not affect disk recognition. I recommend confirming if your hard drive is detected within Disk Utility, and if it allows for the drive to be repaired:

Thanks for your reply. I tried it on three different computers without success. Then a couple of hours later it suddenly appeared. Very strange. No problems since.
