One of my HDs has been hanging at 54C, according to SpeedFan and Speccy. The operating range is supposed to be 28C-54C, and once it gets warmed up it just sits at 54 and doesn’t vary. (I was running the pc for a while with the door off and the temp then was 60C (!) because the fan wasn’t able to draw air across the HDs.)
Even though 54 is within the acceptable range, it still seems like a bad situation. Is this drive likely to die soon from running so hot?
