Harddrive change?

Hello everyone,

i have a my cloud mirror and i´m very happy with it.

But i like to know, is it possible to change the harddrives 2x2TB to larger ones 2x4TB? The mirror exists with 8TB storage so i would expect no problems. Am i right?

Is it possible to use harddrives from other manufactors or are WD HDDs requierd?

The WD My Cloud EX2 allows you to change the internal hard drives. However, I am not aware if this is currently possible with the WD My Cloud Mirror. Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
