Hard Drive not working

I am not able to use MyBook Essential 2TB haddrive. when i plug in to the computer, it shows up as disabled and does not show any properties like total size and total space used. The problem occured when i fixed the bad sectors with windows utility tool. please help.

Try using another utility to test the drive.

Our Data Lifeguard Diagnostics software allows you to erase the partition and initialize it again.

That’s only recommended if the data is backed up in a different drive.
