Hard drive no longer shows up in my computer

I bought a new 3 tb wd elements external hard drive off ebay a few weeks ago and now it doesnt show up. It lights up like its turned on but the computer doesnt show anything. I tried putting the serial number in for warranty and it came up as ‘OUT OF WARRANTY’.

What do I do?

Don’t expect to much for quick answers here.

My advice, if the Drive has been bought less than 30 days you should call WD their numbers are on their site.

They would probably help you out.
