Hard drive connected to WDTV Live Streaming not writeable

Hello y’all,

I never had this problem before with my older generation WDTV devices, but it looks like I can no longer transfer files with the latest gen WDTV Live Streaming over my network using my Mac. My Mac says the hard drive connected to the WDTV is not writeable. I can, however, delete and open files.

Before, I didn’t make any changes to the settings on the player or my computer. Is it now necessary with the latest gen?

I’d appreciate any help.

It should not be an issue, did you check the network settings on the WD TV?

There aren’t many network settings in the WDTV itself. The only setting I see is applying a login credential. Or am I missing something?
