Hard disc donest start on power plugin (mybook essentials 1TB)

i purchased mybook essential 1tp 4 months ago

at the very first time when i pluged in the power and usb to the hard disk. it didnt start.

but after several tries the lights were on. and the disk was running awesome.

used it… no physical damages at all…

but yestarday… i plugged it in. it didnt start! no lights were on.!

it happened the same when i took it to my friends place. it didnt start.!

its just not starting… no lights.! no detection on the desktop.!

help !

Are you connecting the drive to the wall power source? or are you using a power strip?
