Green light flashing

Hey all, got a new router and now I can’t see my 2TB My Book Live. I tried doing the reinstall with the WD software but it doesn’t see it either. The green light on the front flashes and won’t go solid as the setup says wait for.

Any hints? Thanks!

There are three possible resolutions.

  • If the hard drive is connected to a surge protector or UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), please connect the drive’s power directly to a wall socket.

  • If the hard drive is connected to a wall socket (outlet) already, please try connecting the hard drive to another wall socket. If this does not resolve the issue, the power supply may be defective and can be replaced from the directions below.

I did move it around to different outlets,no change.

As far as the pwr supply being bad… I guess it could be that but I kinda doubt it. Lights come on, front and back, and I can hear/feel the hard disk moving.
