Hey there, Guys.
I have the SMP, 3rd Gen, paired with a WD My Passport, 1TB external HDD. This is a new relationship, and we’re still getting to know each other! I usually have my ‘view’ option set to ‘Folder’. I have a folder.jpg within each folder so an image displays on the folder of the movie/programme within. However, and I don’t even know if this is meant to be like this, but I can’t see the point of it if it is, the green camera icon shows on each folder over my nice folder art. I thought that if I had a cover for each folder, the green icon would no longer show?? Is there any way I can get rid of it?
Also, I put a folder.jpg in ‘My Passport’ HDD so I don’t get the black square with a green icon on it, but it won’t show up. What am I doing wrong?

You can get rid of it via custom themeing
(eg. edit xml’s and remove image image="thumb_folder_icon or erase (don’t delete) the thumbnail_folder_cover_mask.png icon**)**

Oh, ok. So there’s no way to ‘tweak’ the default theme?
yes absolutely you can “tweak it” to your hearts content (add,remove,alter,change etc)

This theme removes the folder overlay icon for the video views… upload it to your SMP*
